Design & Functionality
Ancra Systems made Just in Time and Just in Sequence deliveries possible by installing the Ancra Slat Conveyor Loading System at the automotive parts manufacturer for the handling of stacks comprising of 4 or 5 car wheels.
The car wheels are automatically, precisely, and effectively loaded onto the ATLS systems by the stacker robot arms.
The car wheels are positioned on the Ancra Slat Conveyor where they are automatically loaded into the modified trailers in just 3 mins!
One truckload consists of 16 rows with 3 stacks of wheels with different weights, sizes, for the varying models of cars. With the help of a positioning ramp the trailer docks in line with the Ancra Slat Conveyor System at the vehicle OEM plant, which is located a few kilometers from automotive parts manufacturer, it’s ideal for a closed-loop shuttle.
The Ancra Slat Conveyor Unloading Systems at the vehicle OEM plant is integrated into the factory's automated material handling system.
