Ancra Systems, started in the 1970s as a subsidiary of Ancra International LLC, specializing in cargo handling solutions, including essential load securing devices like lashing straps. By the mid-1980s, the company shifted its focus to designing and manufacturing roller conveyor systems for air cargo, marking its initial steps toward automated loading and unloading systems.
The 1990s saw significant growth in product development, with Ancra Systems expanding its portfolio to include solutions for palletized goods and general cargo. This period also marked the company’s expansion into international markets.
