AGV Loading & Unloading System
AGV Trailer Loading System
The AGV Trailer Loading System offers a fully automated, highly adaptable solution for the loading and unloading of trailers—without the need for trailer modifications. This Non-Modified Cargo Solution (NMCS) uses advanced AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) technology to optimize warehouse-to-truck and truck-to-warehouse material flows with exceptional precision, safety, and flexibility.
As with all Ancra ATLS systems, the AGV Trailer Loading System, supporting loading and unloading of palletized goods, can be integrated into various types of logistics environments—from high-volume distribution centers to manufacturing sites requiring 24/7 autonomous operation.

System Configuration and Operation
The AGV Trailer Loading System consists of intelligent, self-driving AGVs equipped with lifting platforms and integrated control software. These AGVs are capable of:
- Navigating autonomously between storage areas and trailers
- Aligning automatically with trailer or dock positions
- Lifting and placing goods directly onto the trailer floor
- Supporting both short-side and long-side pallet entry
- Working in semi-outdoor environments down to +5°C
The AGVs use a combination of technologies to achieve accurate and reliable handling:
- 3D Laser Navigation & Visual Perception: Determines AGV position via environmental features and enhances spatial awareness.
- AI & Machine Learning: Continuously improves route planning and operational efficiency.
- Servo-Control Technology: Ensures precise fork positioning and smooth load engagement.
- Multi-layered Planning Algorithms: Optimize multi-vehicle scheduling and reduce delays at loading bays.
The system is compatible with multiple trailer types, including curtain-siders, flatbeds, and wind trucks. Both rear and side loading is supported using dock boards, plates, or integrated AGV ramps.
